The cost guarantee plan would provide a plan sponsor with a guarantee of pharmacy cost savings. More specifically, a benchmark amount would be established based on the amount of prescription dollars spent in a previous quarter with sponsors current PBM and the number of lives on the plan in that same quarter, compared to the same measurement with Kohll’s/RxMPSS in the subsequent quarter.

Cost savings would be measured and reported quarterly. At the end of the plan year, Kohll’s/RxMPSS will have delivered cost savings to the plan or will cut the plan a check for the difference.
